Rethink Your Energy Drink

Brief
Rethink Your Energy Drink, is a PSA campaign by the Dallas Nutritional Transparency Alliance that targets four of the main problems with energy drinks. The first issue is parent companies taking their energy drinks, rebranding them for a different target audience, and not disclosing that they are from the same parent company. The second problem is the use of misleading marketing to trick consumers into thinking that their drinks are healthier than the competition. The third problem is the harmful side effects, such as anxiety, heart problems, and insomnia. The last issue is how energy drinks are considered dietary supplements by the FDA and are not subject to pre-market approval. Through this multimedia campaign, of posters, an Instagram, brochures, and a website it leads the viewer through a pipeline of learning.
Objective
The goal of this PSA is to encourage people to think more critically and do more research about what they consume.
